The First Conversation

A quiet, candid first call.

Every divorce begins with questions — about timing, money, children, and what comes next. Your first call with Gabrielle is complimentary, confidential, and unhurried. We listen first, explain what Florida law actually says, and outline a realistic plan before any fees are discussed.

The Process

A clear path, every step.

Whether the matter is uncontested, contested, or high-conflict, we move with intention — petition, financial disclosures, parenting plans, equitable distribution, and final judgment. You’ll always know what’s filed, what’s coming, and what we’re asking for. No surprise invoices. No silence between updates.

The Next Chapter

Built for what comes after.

A good outcome is one you can live with — financially, emotionally, and practically — for years to come. We negotiate and litigate with that in mind: protecting your stability, your relationships with your children, and the foundation you’ll build on next.

Common Questions

Divorce, answered.

A few of the things clients ask before reaching out.

No. Florida is a no-fault state — you only need to state that the marriage is irretrievably broken. Fault can still affect issues like alimony or distribution in narrow circumstances, but it isn’t required to file.

An uncontested divorce can finalize in roughly 30 to 90 days after filing. Contested matters typically take six months to a year, depending on the issues, the court’s calendar, and how cooperative both sides are.

Florida follows equitable distribution — marital assets and debts are divided fairly, which is usually but not always 50/50. Non-marital property (typically what you owned before the marriage or received as a gift or inheritance) generally stays with the original owner.

Most divorces resolve through negotiation or mediation without a contested trial. If your matter does require court, you’ll be fully prepared and Gabrielle will be the attorney standing beside you — never a substitute.

Florida courts focus on the best interests of the child and favor shared parental responsibility. We build parenting plans around your family’s actual schedule and your children’s needs, not boilerplate templates.

Always. Your matter will not be handed off to a junior associate or paralegal. You hired the attorney, so you get the attorney — every call, every signature, every step.
